The photographic work “Looking for Eve” invites the viewer to consider new ways to perceive one’s own reality and narrative.
Each image is a stage, a story, a memory or even an illusion, interacting with reality and the stillness of nature. The staged world confuses and creates chaos as it is only existing on the edge of the inside and the outside, the visible and the invisible, the presence and the absence.
The light reveals fragments of “her”, suggesting that truth and identity can be discovered. But this is an illusion as soon enough “she” merges into the void areas of the images.
The series started from a natural, intuitive way of observing, followed by a deep analysis of
the photographs taken during the project. It was only after the process that the photographer could fully grasp the meaning of this series.
